DIAGONAL LANDSCAPES

A world among party walls, urban sprawl and minimum impact; the project revolves around two concepts.

The first one relates to urban scale; the site has been fully hollowed out above and below ground, connecting this new space with the new park, included in the planning document, to the Northeast.

The second one relates to the architectural scale; it facilitates the articulation of different regulatory heights incorporating formal coherence, fragmenting the presence of constructed facades, and providing permeability to the bays.

Lastly, this arrangement provides the residential scale with openings on two facades for each unit. The system enables to provide flexibility to different bays by grouping residential units of slightly different depth based on their typology.
